Prototypes and fabric sale

Some new news from MVM Studios!

I am clearing out some space in my studio and participating in a group fabric sale on
SUNDAY November 17th 2013
from 10AM to 2PM
The New York Fashion Academy
5201 Ballard Ave
Seattle WA 98107

I have a lot of small yardage (10 yards and under) vintage cottons, knits, sheers, upholstery weight, silks, and poly silks I'm looking to get rid of! Most are prints because I am such a print person! Our tailoring teacher Ruthie, the school, and a few other NYFA affiliates will be selling some of their fabrics as well!

In preparation for the sale, I've been making some bows for the holidays to sell at the fabric sale as well. Isn't it great to get a package with a lovely bow on it? Or a perfect fabric bow your holiday hat? I've been using up my vintage stock, and scraps of fabric from past garments.

I posted these on my instagram (follow me if you already aren't!)

I will make a post soon about Francie's peacock tulle skirt for Halloween soon. Here's a little sneak peek! There close to 30 yards of tulle in there!

I am so excited for the new instrustrial machines I got! I have been sewing up some heavy duty  prototypes that will be hitting stores before the holiday season!  You can see one of them in this photo..heee hee!

I am excited to be using up my handmade MV logo stamp and labels in upcoming designs too!

Sew Sew Sew time--Making items for my holiday Etsy and fabric sale now!

Love, Camille
